Living in Florida, she noticed something missing. In Dubai, people came together easily — around a table, a conversation, a shared moment. In Florida, that was harder to find, and culture was often misunderstood. But she noticed one thing: when a room smelled beautiful, people softened. They leaned in. They asked, what is that?

So she made a scent. She started with Eastern oils — oud and musk — and softened them with lighter notes like coconut and Bulgarian rose. Something rooted, but open. Familiar, but new. It made people curious. It made them ask. That's how YK began — not just a perfume, but a way to bring people together.
